Yes I'm sure there's a lot of you here who doubt that THE FIGHT FOR FIVE for KIM POSSIBLE will ever succeed or get Kim Possible back. But hey that's exactly what they said about Futurama. Futurama was cancelled back in 2003 and that was that. But the Futurama fans never gave up on the series and guess what? Not only did it come back in made for direct DVD movies, it's now back for 26 brand new episodes ordered by Comedy Central. It took six years for the fans to win this one, but it was a fight the fans in the end won and it was so worth it, as I'm a huge Futurama fan myself. It might take time, a lot of time. But sooner or later Disney will cave in, especially after they start to realize that renewing a show sometimes has it's benefits like Family Guy and now Futurama.

Well, I'm more or less waiting for Disney to come to their senses.
Let's run down the hit parade of shows Disney killed:
Kim Possible. Lilo and Stitch. W.I.T.C.H.
I'm not sure if Kim Possible should be really counted, since this show got the longest run of any Disney cartoon (as far as I know, the Little Mermaid got 3 seasons, which means Kim Possible is the leader, in terms of seasons).
However, Disney specifically made a movie to "end" Lilo and Stitch once and for all (we hadn't even got anywhere the complete total of experiments found, something like 110 out of 623 or so).
And the final episode of W.I.T.C.H. (season 2) set up the next season's story arc, but then what happened?
Judging from the fact that the 2 latest cartoons released by Disney (the Replacements, Phineas and Ferb) have failed to interest me in any way, I'd say that they've lost the plot, so to speak.
But yes, I do hope Disney is pressured by the fans to bring back the good cartoons. Or they come to their senses when they realize this drivel is bringing them down.

If Disney was going to bring KP back it would most likely have to be staged in a college setting involving young adult situations which the Mouse would probably not be comfortable with and which would appeal to only a small percentage of the Disney Channel's viewers.

Unless they formatted it as the usual Disney style 'family sitcom' (Wizards of Wizardly Place' for example) only the focus would be on Kim and Ron's kids with K&R as the harried parents.
